This series began with a close up of a window screen taken during a winter storm. The ice in the screen reminded me of windows in a building. Through digital tools I began sculpting a city and saw that the process was evolutionary--"metrovolutionary," as i were, and that the artwork needed a finishing point, the "there" in the process. I then blended in an image of the New York skyline, taken from a train window. The next step was to create a version for each city, changing the color palette and adding season-appropriate elements to the sky.
